How can I sign up to pray?

If you'd like to sign up to pray, please complete and submit the sign-up form by CLICKING HERE.

 

How will I know if I got the time slot I wanted?

Your name will appear in that slot. If you've never filled a slot before, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions.

 

Will I be alone when I pray or will others join me?

You can state your preference on the signup form. If you want to be alone, or with a private group (CPR, family etc.), you can state 'closed'. If you would like others to join you, you can state 'open' and write what you plan for the focus to be.

 

Can I pray in either prayer room?

Yes, you will have access to both prayer rooms, the lobby and the bathrooms.

 

Can I just show up to pray whenever Iwant?

If the calendar states that it is an 'open' hour, you can show up to pray.

 

Can my Care Group or other small group pray together?

Yes, your Care Group or other small group can sign up for a time slot and pray together.

 

Can I bring my kids?

The prayer room has a children's corner and we encourage you to involve your entire family in your prayer hour(s).

 

Can I sign up for more than one hour?

Definitely!

How will I get into the prayer room if the church is closed?

When you receive the confirmation email, you will be given a code that opens the outside prayer room door. This is confidential and is to be used only for your prayer hour(s).

 

Will it be safe to pray at night?

The church will be locked from the outside at night and only those with the prayer room code will be able to come in at their appointed time. In addition, we will have a Watchman who will remain in the lobby from 10pm to 5am.

 

Can people from other churches join in?

We encourage you to bring others with you to your prayer hour(s).

 

How will I know what to do? What if I've never prayed for an entire hour before?

There will be a written guide in the other prayer room across the lobby to help you, should you desire it. There will also be many ways to express yourself in prayer -- painting, drawing, writing, taking communion, singing and/or playing instruments to name a few. We believe you will be amazed at how fast the time actually goes!
